Jo Ramsey Leimenstoll, a professor in the Department of Interior Architecture and historic preservation coordinator, was interviewed by the Washington Post regarding a project where George Washington University and UNCG design students redesigned the Woodlawn Estate for the All American House contest.

“We said, ‘Sure, we’d love to do it,’ having no real idea what it meant,” she said.

Sponsored by Made: In America and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, UNCG students, which designed six of the eight rooms, won first place for the parlor and third place for the center hallway.
