The UNCG Career Services Center and Alumni Association are teaming up to host “Spartans Connect: Student + Alumni Networking Night” on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Cone Ballroom in the Elliott University Center.

The event is an opportunity for current students to learn valuable relationship building skills and connect with successful UNCG graduates. During the first hour, alumni will network with one another while students participate in a networking workshop. From 7 to 8 p.m., students will have the chance to apply what they have learned as they meet alumni.

In addition, free headshots will be available to all participants from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

“Events like the Spartans Connect Networking Night are incredibly meaningful for students,” said Catherine Goetz, associate director for employer relations in UNCG’s Career Services Center. “There are few other places where students have the undivided attention of some of the community’s most successful contributors. I think providing a platform for students to learn, explore and establish relationships is the best way to prepare them for life after graduation.”

Students are required to register by Feb. 20 via the Spartan Careers tab on the Career Services Center website, and alumni participants can register here. Professional attire is strongly encouraged.
