In the coming months, undergraduate and graduate students will showcase their hard work and research at UNCG’s annual research expos. Registration has already opened for graduate students and will begin soon for undergraduates.

The fourth annual Graduate Research and Creativity Expo will be April 7 from noon until 3 p.m. in the Elliot University Center. The expo gives UNCG’s graduate students an opportunity to explain and present their research to the university and local communities through posters and presentations.

Graduate students can enter their research into five categories: natural, physical and mathematical sciences; health sciences; social sciences; humanities; creative arts and professional programs. A winner from each category will be awarded $1,000.

Registration will be open until Jan. 31 and is limited to 100 posters and 21 presentations. For more information, or to register, visit the expo website.

The 10th annual Carolyn and Norwood Thomas Undergraduate Research Expo is scheduled for March 29. The Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creativity Office will begin accepting abstracts Jan. 26. The deadline is Feb. 16. More information can be found online.
